I’ve seen lots of beautiful, brightly colour fish when I’ve been snorkelling on coral reefs, but I think the most beautiful creature I’ve seen is the dolphin – they’re so sleek and elegant and playful. 😉

      Hey shannonk99,

The most beautiful sea creatures I have ever seen are Caribbean Reef squid. They are just the most fantastic animals. Their ability to change the colour and texture of their skin is incredible. I remember a particular day once when I was snorkeling with a group of these squid and two individuals left the group to be on their own. I’m not sure whether it was mating display or a fight but the squids were changing their skin colour so quickly from the most glowing bright white to the darkest of blacks while flaring their tentacles. I stayed in the water watching this pair for hours as it was just so beautiful and captivating.

Here is a pic of one but bear in mind that they can have skin of pretty much any colour.
