• Question: What is the furthest galaxy away from us?

      Great question, but it’s a really hard one to answer, because the farthest galaxy from us is almost certainly going to be one that we can’t actually see!

      Hey ashishhans10,

      Nathan is right – the furthest galaxy would be one that we cant see. Our telescopes just aren’t that good! Also, the further away you look is the same as looking back in time because light would take so long to travel there. It would be so far away actually that the furthest-away galaxy would be looking way into the past to the beginning of the universe, the time of the big bang. It’s pretty amazing!
