• Question: If you had a chance to explore anywhere in the atmosphere where would youlike to go?

      I’d love to go right to the top of the atmosphere, so I could see the earth from the sky above. I think that must be one of the most beautiful sights ever.

      I’ll probably go to the part of atmosphere called “thermosphere”, because that’s where the International Space Station is located. I can bring up my protein up there and grow my protein crystals there. It was believed and shown that proteins grow huge and nice crystals up high up the atmosphere!

      Hey lewis55,

      I would choose to go to the ionosphere. This is the part of the atmosphere that is ionized by solar radiation. It stretches from 50 to 1,000 km and it forms the inner edge of the magnetosphere. I would want to go there as it is responsible for auroras. There are the natural light displays in the sky seen over the Arctic and Antarctic. You can read more about them here:
