• Question: Hi, Have you ever been attcked under the sea from sea creatures??

      Thankfully no.

      But previously we swam under the sea for an ecology trip. And some of my friends were stung by spines of sea urchins. Ouch.

      HI roopinderpadda,
      Even though I have swum with lots of sharks, I have never been attacked! Most of the time, sea creatures really aren’t very interested in us humans! I guess the only time I have really ever been attacked was at the beach by a crab once. I stepped on it as it was covered by sand and it grabbed onto my toe. It really really hurt and bled a bit. Eventually we had to break off its arm as it wouldn’t let go. I felt really bad to do that! I’ve also had a big eel wrap around my leg when I was at the beach once – it was horrible and slimy and really really scared me!

      I’ve been stung by a jelly fish in the surf before… it really hurt! Does that count?
