• Question: do you like animals?

      I love animals. Two of my uncles have (or had) farms, so I was around animals a lot as I grew up – and another of my uncles has a real affinity with all animals – he will even pat spiders! 😉

      Hey Kayleigh,

      I love animals. Growing up in the Caribbean, I always had lots of pets and spent most of my time outside. My love for animals led me first to want to be a vet when I was younger but as I grew older I realised I loved the marine world more. However, my job now lets me still interact with animals every day and so it is the best of both worlds! My love of animals also made me choose to become a vegetarian. I couldn’t bear the thought of an animal being hurt for me.

      I enjoy going hiking and going to parks and mountains. But, sadly, they are no longer as “wild” as it is used to be, hence, see less animals.

      I love photography and one thing I enjoyed shooting are animal subjects. They are very interesting creatures. 🙂
